Danella Sydow Carries Lady Liberty Photo by Erika Schultz, The Seattle Times Profile Danella Sydow lives in a seaside village on the North Bay of the Case Inlet with her best friend, the social psychologist, retired professor, writer, and great love of her life, Bruce Sydow. They celebrated their 25-year anniversary in 2024.
Danella's artwork is held in collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe. She works out of a home-based studio that features a 17-foot ceiling, three skylights, and a one-third-acre backyard with a menagerie of wildlife. Danella's painting of her husband, and his Pushcart Prize-nominated poem, Surviving Christmas, are published by Mary Senter of Milltown Press. The book, "G.I. Days: An Anthology of Military Life, is a 2024 Gold Medal Finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
